FoCuSeD Facilitating Teleconferences

Gary Rush's 1 ½ -day highly interactive class teaches “how to” conduct effective and productive teleconferences to collectively achieve a goal or accomplish a task.

Why? Because in this day and age, we have more and more meetings that are teleconferences or video-conferences. These are the way of the future. Unlike face-to-face meetings, you have to approach teleconferences differently to make them productive. It requires effective facilitative skills. Because – These teleconferences can be very productive when properly facilitated. How? This class gives you the needed skills that enable you to not only conduct highly effective and productive teleconferences but it also enables you to manage participants and conflict – the good, the bad, and the ugly. Gary believes that theory is needed and teaches it to provide a background. He teaches specific “how to” and provides practice (40% of the class time) to allow development of what was learned enabling attendees to use the skills immediately upon returning to work.

PMI – R.E.P. – This class confers 9 Professional Development Units (PDUs) to those attendees who are certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs). "Not only were you excellent in all the categories, but you gave... permission? authority? for the focus on this as a major professional skillset."
