FoCuSeD™ On...

Project Management, Business Analysis, Quality Management

Coming from an IT background, Gary knows that facilitative Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Quality Analysts are more successful if they are able to guide their group through a facilitated process to accomplish their task. They produce better results that have the buy-in of all stakeholders enabling the greatest chance of success.

This 3-day highly interactive class teaches "how to" effectively use facilitative skills and tools necessary to drive the overall business management strategy into the product solutions so needed for business success - achieving support and commitment from their stakeholders. It guides you, enabling you to plan the people side along with the process side to successfully accomplish a task. It is targeted for Project Managers, Business Analysts, and others working in Project Management, Business Analysis, Six Sigma, TQM, and other Quality Initiatives.

FoCuSeD™ On... teaches you "how to":

  • Develop teams and build enthusiasm.
  • Deal with people - the good, the bad, and the ugly.
  • Improve communication and support.
  • Use Leader skills to effectively run meetings and structured workshops.
  • Build your skills and confidence and become collaborative leaders.

FoCuSeD seamlessly integrates the process of building products along with the process of group dynamics (see It's time to get FoCuSeD™). FoCuSeD is an approach to information gathering where group workshops replace individual interviews. FoCuSeDfully integrates methodologies with communication and group dynamics to derive consensus-based information.

Gary believes that the process to build agendas and deal with people is the same whether you are dealing with business, technical, or any type of subject. He believes that theory is needed and teaches it to provide a background. He teaches specific "how to"; he provides detailed facilitation and process tools. In his class students practice 40% of the class time and receive comprehensive assessments along with a recorded session.

This class is available on-site anywhere in the world. Please contact Gary for addtional information, pricing, and scheduling.
