This 3-day highly interactive class will enable you to make more of an impact at work. Leaders lead, they inspire, they make a difference. This is the Leadership model of the future. Great Leaders have strong support from their groups - that is because they engage their groups. Fear and dictating, only works for bosses – Leaders inspire groups to go beyond their capabilities. Up to now, great Leaders were Collaborative by intuition. I want the FoCuSeD™ Leader to be Collaborative on purpose. This class will expand your thinking.

Three (3) Days

Abstract

The class explores what is “leadership”, how is it different from “management”, and how do you lead. Topics include:

 

  • What is Collaborative Leadership?
  • Leadership Skills – leading people, paradigms, conflict, empowering, and listening.
  • Leading Groups – strategic thinking, communication, leadership styles, and the group life cycle.
  • Advanced Leadership - presentation skills, diversity, managing meetings, Speed of Change, and – Consensus-Based Society.

Objectives:

Upon completion, students will be able:

 

  • To define "Collaborative Leadership".
  • To develop Collaborative Leadership skills.
  • To recognize effective Leaders.
  • To use Collaborative Leadership skills learned to affect group performance.
